We are looking for qualified Horticulture Tutors to tutor at various Campuses around Australia.  This role will involve providing assistance to students through tutorials, excursions and practical experience.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Hold a Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40110)
  • Hold a Certificate III in Horticulture or above
  • Have a minimum of 2 years industry related experience
  • Be eligible for a Working With Children clearance.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a passion to see the learners reach their goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide training, facilitation and feedback that engages and supports the student to progress through their course and meets Smart City’s policies and procedures.
  • Assess and address the varied learning needs of each student including LLN.
  • Engage and retain students so that they successfully complete the course.
  • Provide relevant feedback to students and the completion of records within specified timelines.
  • Share your passion for the Hospitality industry and watch your students develop their skills and confidence.

Tutor - Diploma of Counselling (Casual)

We are looking for a qualified Diploma of Counselling Tutor for Gympie Campus. This role will involve providing assistance to students through tutorials, excursions and practical experience.

As a tutor with the Smart City team, you will be utilising your skills and experience to:

  • Provide support and assistance to students by preparing and conducting tutorials and coordinating excursions as required by the relevant Trainer/Assessor.
  • Support the learner through one on one or group discussions relating to on-line learning content; workshops and skype sessions delivered by the training team.
  • Identify any student at risk by thorough tutorial attendance recording.
  • Provide administrative support to the program trainer/assessor.
  • Watch your students grow to reach their full potential.

The ideal applicant will:

  • Hold a Certificate III in Counselling or higher qualification (or equivalent experience)
